I have had an idea for a Christmas gift, I want to make a Tobacco Purse for my Cousin, and thought it would be great to felt one! However that would involve wet felting, which I have never done before & have no idea how to do!
So I've been busy 'Googling' and have just found a really great tutorial on wet felting. There is a video showing how to make a felted flower (I might have to have a go at making some of those too!) It looks great, and so I thought I would share it here with y'all. Follow this link to see the video; Wet Felting Flower.

(Another) Needle Felt Santa!
I've been using cushion stuffing for the core of most of my projects, simply because I have loads & am trying to use it all up. Anyway, there are loads of curly bits inside and I thought I'd have a go at using them for a Santa Beard, so I made another Santa!
He is much bigger than my previous Santa decoration, so maybe not good for hanging on a tree, but he looks good as a standalone decoration.

Needle Felt Purple Fairy Princess.
I made this one to hang in my daughters bedroom. This was a much quicker project, as you will notice, she has no arms. Oops!
Needle Felt Christmas Tree Top Fairy
I made this to go on top of the tree, I used a paper cone inside the skirt -which to be honest, was a bit of a mistake. Well, not the cone itself, but the way I did it - I have learned a lot should I do it again! I didn't leave myself a lot of room round her middle to be able to felt her skirt. I'm afraid that she may fall apart any moment, ha ha. She looks nice though, I like the colors.
Needle Felt Festive Fairy.
I had a dabble this weekend at making some more fairy's, and even a Christmas tree topper. This was the first fairy I did, I mostly wanted to practice making the arms from Pipe cleaners, as my previous attempts have been ok, but not great - I find wrapping the ends of the hands a bit fiddly, but she came out ok.

Needle felt Berk!
Not sure who remembers this? Totally random, but I used to love it as a kid; Berk from Trapdoor!
Don't you open that Trapdoor, coz there's something down there!!!!!

Needle Felt Christmas Robin.
Here is the most 'technically challenging' item that I've made so far. I used pipe cleaners to make his legs and feet (wrapped in embroidery thread) and he has glass eyes.
I'm super pleased with him, he looks very proud!
